Terms and Conditions
1. Principle
The terms and conditions listed below apply to online sales of Paulaine products. These may be amended in line with changes to products and new services offered by Paulaine. By accepting these terms and conditions, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted them.
2. Content
The purpose of these terms and conditions is to set out the rights and obligations of the parties in relation to the online sale of goods offered by the seller to the buyer via the Paulaine website. These purchases relate to the following products: Knitting patterns.
3. Sales information
The purchaser acknowledges that, prior to placing their order, they were provided with these terms and conditions of sale in a legible and comprehensible manner.
The following information is provided to the purchaser in a clear and comprehensible manner:
- the essential characteristics of the goods;
- the price of the goods and/or the method of calculating the price;
- where applicable, any additional costs for transport, delivery or postage and any other charges that may be payable;
- where the sale is not to be fulfilled immediately, the date on which the seller undertakes to deliver the goods, regardless of their price;
- information regarding the seller’s identity, postal, telephone and email contact details, and business activities; information regarding statutory guarantees, the functionality of digital content and, where applicable, its interoperability; and information regarding the existence and terms of implementation of guarantees and other contractual conditions.
4. Order
The purchaser may place an order online, via the online catalogue and using the form provided therein, for any product, subject to availability.
The purchaser will be informed if the product or item ordered is unavailable.
For the order to be confirmed, the buyer must accept these terms and conditions by clicking in the designated area. They must also select a delivery address and confirm their payment method.
The sale shall be deemed final:
- once the seller has sent the buyer confirmation of the order’s acceptance by email;
- and once the seller has received payment in full.
Placing an order constitutes acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the products available for sale. Any dispute on this point will be dealt with in the context of a possible exchange and the guarantees set out below.
In certain cases, notably in the event of non-payment, an incorrect address or any other issue with the buyer’s account, the seller reserves the right to hold the buyer’s order until the problem has been resolved.

5. Products
The products covered by these terms and conditions are those listed on the Paulaine website and indicated as being sold and dispatched by Paulaine. They are offered whilst stocks last. The products are described and presented as accurately as possible. However, should any errors or omissions occur in this presentation, Paulaine cannot be held liable. Product photographs are not contractually binding. They are as accurate as possible, but may nevertheless vary depending on the web browser and screen used. The products remain the property of Paulaine until full payment has been received.
6. Price
Paulaine reserves the right to change its prices at any time but undertakes to apply the current prices indicated at the time of the order, subject to availability on that date.
Prices are quoted in Swiss francs. They do not include delivery charges, which are invoiced separately and shown before the order is confirmed. Prices include the VAT applicable on the day of the order, and any change in the applicable VAT rate will be automatically reflected in the prices of products in the online shop.
Should one or more taxes or levies, particularly environmental ones, be introduced or amended – whether increased or reduced – this change may be reflected in the retail price of the products.
7. Payment method
This is an order with an obligation to pay, which means that placing the order entails payment by the purchaser.
To pay for their order, the purchaser may choose from any of the payment methods made available by Paulaine and listed on the paulaine.ch website. The buyer warrants to Paulaine that they have the necessary authorisation to use their chosen payment method when confirming the order. Paulaine reserves the right to suspend any order processing and delivery in the event of a refusal to authorise payment by credit card by the officially accredited bodies or in the event of non-payment. In particular, Paulaine reserves the right to refuse to make a delivery or to fulfil an order from a purchaser who has not paid for a previous order in full or in part, or with whom a payment dispute is currently being resolved.
Payment of the full amount is due on the day the order is placed, in accordance with the following methods:
- Credit card
- Bank transfer
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
8. Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content in non-tangible form (downloads).
